With an attentive eye and equipped with a video camera, Johannes Langkamp, born 1985 in Laer currently based in Rotterdam, traverses the streets, alleyways and courtyards around the Rosenplatz to create a video diary. His new perspectives on familiar places come from inversion and alienation.
Johannes Langkamp has just won the Werner Deutsch Preis for young art! The prize will be announced on 12. Oct., 2012 at Museum Kleve.
For Tangency Johannes Langkamp created a site specific room installation in the exhibition hall, an empty shop at Osnabrück’s Rosenplatz. The installation’s video can soon been seen on the artist’s homepage.
